3 Steps For Poshers With Too Many Goals

Do you ever feel like you’re spinning in circles with too many goals? The good news is, you’re not the only one who feels that way (ahem…Me. All the time). But you can figure it out. Because Everything Is Figureoutable!

Here are some things you can do if you’re overwhelmed with goals.

  1. Look for overlaps. If your goal is to increase your sales by 25%, think about cross-listing your products to another platform like Mercari, or Depop. Once you have your listing finished on Poshmark, it’s easy to copy that information over to another selling app. Don’t want to do that? Try finding an assistant on Fiverr who will do it for you. They are very reasonably priced.

Sometimes two goals seem to be in direct opposition to each other, like wanting to travel and having more free time at home. In this case, try seeking out a conference in a destination your want to go to. Use this as a business learning experience, and when you get home, you’ll likely see new ways to streamline your business and get your sh*t done faster.

  1. Make the time. We tell ourselves there are "only so many hours in a day," and that we're "too busy" to take on anything else right now. Your time is precisely that – yours.

Instead of saying “I don’t have time list or source,” try saying, “I’m not making time to list or source.” We find the time for the things that matter.

Get up an hour earlier or cut out some Netflix time (I know this one hurts). You’ll be surprised what you can get done.

  1. Be flexible. It’s a good thing to put a timeline together and have definite dates and time-sensitive goals. But remember that life happens, and often it even gets in the way. There is an ancient Greek saying that goes: “If you want to make the gods laugh, tell them your plans.” Having milestones and plotting points along the timeline is good, but don’t hold yourself to it so rigidly that you cannot adapt to the occasional curveball. Some weeks and months will be better than others, so look for upward trends overall.
